McCoy Creek Park
Buchanan, MI
Our 4th Annual Benefit Car Show was a resounding
success! With the potential threat for bad weather, the
turnout wasn't as large this year. There were over 125 registered entrants.
Naturally, Michiana Cruiser cars aren't
eligible for awards. The participants brought some absolutely
awesome vehicles, which made judging extremely difficult.
Everyone should be so proud of their cars, they did a wonderful job
and we are truly grateful to all that attended our show.
This was our second year at the McCoy Creek Park in
Buchanan, Michigan. It is an excellent venue, with lots of
shade, mowed grass, a nice creek, shelter, picnic tables, and other
nice features. Thank you to everyone involved for helping to
procure the usage of the park again this year.
The Buchanan City Fire Department put on an
excellent pancake breakfast and the Buchanan High School Girls
Softball team served up a great lunch to the masses. And as
always the folks from the
Berrien County Council for Children
Children's Assessment Center of Berrien County were in
attendance helping us in anyway that was possible. We were
able to raise significant funds for their organization this year.
We want to give thanks to all of the club members
that donated their time and energy to put on this show...it's no
easy feat! Also, we would like to thank our
sponsors and
the Trophy Connection
for making excellent trophies and dash plaques for us once again
this year.
